Our murals attempt to transcend the normal two dimensional artwork on flat architectural surfaces. Our work is based on 1) the full scale of real architectural space, 2) the construction processes that underlie that space and 3) the carpenter’s methods and tools of drawing used to translate the architect’s drawings into full scale constructed space. The murals are deeply architectonic, site specific and three dimensional. We create and install the murals on site working whenever possible with local trades people.
