This series of photographs was taken along a one-mile stretch of Stetson Brook, which rushes down a hollow cut out of the Breadloaf Wilderness Area in the Green Mountains of Vermont. A town road, Stetson Hollow Road, follows the brook up to a waterfall. These rocks are all next to or right in the brook, their exposure, coating and shape the result of a very wet and normally cold environment.
